Cog man

Have you ever heard of the Cogman's wheel,

Stuck unmoving like a brick in his neck?

He lived gazing emotionless but real,

With mechanical thought, he could not wreck.

Yet Cogman was shunned by the cocktail birds,

Ignored by the slithering rabid dogs.

Thus Cogman sat and wrote the blessed words,

Now worshipped each day by his friends the hogs.

Alas! Behold! Cogman's great deed would not

come to fruition while he cried on Earth.

Thus doomed to eternally rot,

Never to know just what his life was worth.

Hail to Cogman, King of pigs and metal!

His words will not rust, his cog never dull!

Thanksgiving

A smile we can all appreciate.
